Sustainability

Our sustainability policy is a key mechanism to assist us in the reduction of our waste, consumption and Greenhouse Gas emissions and guides the selection criteria of our products, services, and activities. This policy underpins WP’s objective of being an environmentally responsible business and we work consistently with our stakeholders to continually and collectively reduce our environmental footprint.

We endeavour to:

WP is a paperless organisation and is striving to be certified as carbon neutral by 2022.

WP Non-Profit Community Assistance Program (WP-CAP)

To assist Charities and Not for Profit agencies through this time of crisis, WP are providing a range of measures to our NFP community service clients that are affected by COVID-19 through a focussed Community Assistance Program. These activities include:

Pro-bono work & donated services
Further discounts to our NFP rate card
Offset and extended payment terms
Ability for WP Team members to donate their volunteer days for work on a NFP client account.

Foodbank is Australia’s largest food relief organisation, operating on a scale that makes it crucial to the work of the front-line charities who are feeding vulnerable Australians. Foodbank provides more than 70% of the food rescued for food relief organisations nation-wide.

COVID Response 1:1 Donation Matching Program

To help those less fortunate to the effects of COVID-19 this program rallies the WP family together to support non-profits that are aiding those community members in need through a ‘One for One’ matching initiative on workforce donations to selected charities. For every dollar our team donates, WP will match it.

Volunteer Days

As part of our corporate values, WP offer 1 day per calendar year for employees to volunteer at a community service event. WP will engage in a charity or community service event every year. This day can be used for the company organised event, otherwise if an employee has a preferred charity, they may apply to use the allowance for that purpose.

Foodbank WA Food Drives

WP gets competitive and runs 6 monthly intracompany Foodbank food drives for tinned, packaged and long life foods as well as personal items.
